Day Center Program

AbleCare Day Center Program

Our Day Center is located at the corporate site. Individuals receiving Innovation Waiver Day Support services are able to participate in the Day Center program. Day Supports is a one-on-one habilitation service or group service that can be provided to the students while participating in the Day Center.  In addition, the Day Center operates as part of the GTCC Compensatory Education Program, featuring a certified instructor from GTCC.

Our Day Center curriculum may include:

  • Word Recognition
  • Emergency Procedure
  • Community Based Employment
  • Stress Reduction
  • Sentence Structure
  • Currency Mangement
  • First Aid and CPR
  • Community Employment
  • Telephone Operations and Etiquette

 

Home and Community Supports

This is a one-on-one habilitation service that can be provided to students before or after school or to non-students during their day.

 

Supported Employment

This is a one-on-one service intended to provide to Consumers that are employed.

Long Term Vocational Support

This is a one-on-one service intended to provide supports on a long term basis for Consumers to maintain their employment.

Respite

Relief for the primary caregiver.  Available for several hours at a time or overnight if needed.

Developmental Therapy

This is state funded service.  This is a one-on-one habilitation service training on specific goals identified in the Person Centered Plan.
